Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with them in their search to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Manager. This role will be responsible for the production and coordination of accurate regulatory reporting and analysis within required timescales. In addition the role will perform treasury duties as part of the Society's Treasury Dealing Team and supporting in the ongoing management of the Society's balance sheet within regulatory and risk appetite limits.


 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing of complex prudential regulatory reporting in line with the society's standards.
  • Review and oversight of simple prudential regulatory reporting completed by other members of the department.
  • Co-ordination of the Society wide regulatory reporting ensuring timelines for reporting are consistently met and issues escalated on a timely basis.
  • Leading role in the interpretation and implementation of complex regulatory reporting guidance to the Society's business and reporting framework.
  • To act as a dealer or settler within the Treasury function as required executing derivative trades, investments in HQLA and wholesale deals.
  • To have an active role in the balance sheet management of the society, including regular monitoring of risk exposures against internal limits and risk appetite framework.
  • Key role in the production of timely and accurate completion of internal management  information for Treasury Department meetings and the Asset and Liability Committee on a weekly and monthly basis reporting to the Board and Executive Committee as required.
  • Utilising the Society's MI tools to prepare ad-hoc MI or financial modelling and relevant analysis to support business planning, as required.
  • Balance sheet planning.
  • Continual development of treasury department and society.

You will be/have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience of working within a treasury function.
  • Experience of working within a financial services organisation.
  • Ability to produce and develop MI reporting and modelling.
  • Self driven and highly motivated.
