Reporting to the Group HSE Director, this newly created role will be responsible for developing and executing the environment & sustainability drivers that support the wider Environment Social Governance (ESG) strategy for both the Agriculture and Engineering businesses. You will look to develop and update effective processes to facilitate the supply of environmentally sustained products and services.

You will have previous experience in providing environmental support, advice, and guidance to support a complex operational business. Experience in providing his quality information and reports to manage and raise environmental standards will enable you to understand and contribute effectively to this complex and varied Group. Previous experience in plastics, fuel storage, oils or chemical would be advantageous. You will have well developed communication skills to effectively engage all levels throughout the organisation and raise the profile of Environment & Sustainability.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern with one day per week based from Head Office in Carlisle and the remaining time based either across the Carr’s Group sites as appropriate to build effective relationships or working from home.
