The HR Operations Manager at Railpen is a business critical and important leadership appointment within the HR team, reporting into the HR Director and leading the HR Operations Team. The HR Operations Manager will providing strategic direction, real value added solutions whilst ensuring a first class service and enabling the HR Business Partners to deliver business objectives. The role also encompasses leadership of the HR operations including HR Coordination team and Payroll alongside HRIS data management and insights, systems improvements, governance, compliance and policy.
Based form the Head Office in Darlington 1 day a week and working as part of an excellent leadership team, this opportunity would be a great way for you to further develop you career in a truly innovative and forward thinking service driven organisation.

To be considered for the HR Operations Manager role you will be an experienced HR Operations Leader with a strong track record of delivery in governance and compliance. A keen interest in systems and driving process improvements is essential. You will be a strong leader and influential coach with the ability to bring the team on a development journey and improve capability. Expertise in employment law and change activities within a trade unionised environment would be advantageous. You will enjoy working as part of a friendly, dedicated and high performing team.
