The opportunity

Nigel Wright is delighted to be working with Huqvarna in the search for a Key Account Manager in the Edinburgh / Glasgow region.  The Key Account Manager will be working in a fast-growing division showcasing Husqvarna’s innovative and industry changing Automower Pro, an automated mowing solution designed for the professional user.  Working alongside a technical specialist, the Key Account Manager will identify end users, arrange product demonstrations and land surveys with the goal of driving sales.

The role

  • Responsible for increasing exposure of the Automower products to end users through identifying clients, analysing their requirements and managing product demonstrations in the Scottish central belt region.
  • Work with existing dealer network to promote sales of Automower products.
  • Work collaboratively with regional specialist and the area business manager to manage sales cycle.
  • Gather market and competitor data, analyse and report on findings.
  • Collaborate with other functions of the UK Pro sales and marketing teams.

The person

  • Confident, energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to start conversations with potential clients.
  • Able to work autonomously, a self-starter but also one who is able to work as part of a larger team.
  • Commercially astute with a consultative sales approach.  Long-lasting relationship building is essential.
  • A background in B2B sales is advantageous.
  • A technical understanding of similar products is desirable.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or in between.
