Envision AESC have joined forces with Nissan and Sunderland City Council as part of the "Nissan EV36Zero’ project that’ll see not only a new, fully electric car pumped out of the Wearside factory, but a whole battery gigafactory and solar farms to help it run cleanly.

Looking for an experienced Process Quality Engineer to support the continued growth and investment across site. 

The Role

The role of Process Quality Engineer will be responsible for - 
 

• Fully proficient with IATF16949:2016
• Root Cause using 8D and Quality tools
• Creation of Control plans
• Support FMEA Creation and Improvements
• Oversee product and process audits (internal)
• Generate technical and management reports
• Ensure containment and corrective actions for internal and supplier concerns
• Data Analysis

Person Specification

The successful Process Quality Engineer - 

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
• Ability to analyse, interpret and present data to make fact-based decisions
• Experience of IATF16949 and working within the automotive industry 
• Good understanding of core tools - PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, and SPC
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – reporting throughout the business at all levels and with all functions will be required
• PC Skills including MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Ability to work shifts if required
• 8D Investigation lead
• Continuous improvement mindset
